Nanjing Museum (Nanjing Bowuguan)

Nanjing Museum (Nanjing Bowuguan) Review

With one of the largest and most impressive collections in China, the Nanjing Museum has excellent displays that set objects in historical context. For instance, beside the shelves of ancient pottery there is a re-created kiln to illustrate how traditional objects were formed. The permanent collection is contained in 11 exhibition halls, and includes excellent works in jade, silk, and bronze. There's also a treasure room with some eye-popping displays.
