Ge Garden (Ge Yuan) Review

Rather than flowers, Ge Garden is planted with more than 60 varieties of bamboo, and is a virtual rainbow of greens. There are yellow stalks, striped stalks, huge treelike stands, and dwarf bamboo with delicate leaves. The emerald stalks stand out against whitewashed walls and black undulating rooflines. Note the loose bricks in the path, arranged to clack as you walk. Catch your breath with a cup of tea in the tea hall.
