Pine and Crane (Songhelou) Review
The food is the type once served on riverboats during banquet cruises—hence the popular designation "boat food." A particularly good dish is the songshu guiyu, or "squirrel-shaped Mandarin fish." (Don't let the English translation turn you off: it's a sweet-and-sour boneless fried river fish.) The other fish dishes are just as delicious.
