Eight Passes
Eight Passes Review
The Eight Passes (Badaguan), named after the Great Wall's eight strategic passes, is a scenic area that lies in between Taiping and Huiquan Cape (around No. 2 Beach). It's far away from the city noise and pollution, so it makes for a lovely escape. The grounds of more than 200 European-style villas are landscaped with peach trees, pine trees, and ginkgoes. It's often referred to as "Little Switzerland."
