Chaoyang District

Chaoyang is where you'll find a lot of the action in Beijing: the nightlife in this district is positively sizzling. The bars and clubs are vibrant and full of Chinese office workers and university students as well as foreigners including expats, English teachers, and embassy staff. During the day, all these people work in this area, as it's home to the CBD (Central Business District), as well as the embassies and the residences of the people who run Beijing's portion of the global economy.
