This popular chain of bright, trendy-but-comfortable restaurants dishes up Taiwanese favorites to a largely young and upwardly mobile clientele. A delicious choice is their "three-cup chicken" (sanbeiji), served in a fragrantly sizzling pot with ginger, garlic, and basil. You can finish your meal with a Taiwan-style mountain of crushed ice topped with condensed milk and beans, mangoes, strawberries, or peanuts. This branch is open until 4 am, making it a favorite with Beijing's clubbing set. The smartly dressed all-female staff—clad in black and white—have identical short haircuts.
