Eastern China Hotels

Eastern China Hotel Reviews

Hotels in this region cater to all budgets, from dingy hostels to luxurious five-star resorts and international chains offering every amenity. Expect cheaper options to have hard beds, unreliable air-conditioning, non-English-speaking staff, and to be unable to except foreign credit cards. High-end international chains, such as the Shangri-la, Sheraton, and Sofitel are consistently lavish. Unlike many other Southeast Asian countries, boutique-style hotels and family-run guesthouses are few. One exception is a domestic chain called the Orange Hotel, with dozens of locations in Hangzhou, Ningbo, and Nanjing, where comfortable and imaginative rooms are available from US$30 to $65 a night.
