Huanshi Dong Lu
Fodor's Review:
Huanshi Dong Lu and the area behind the Garden Hotel is popular with locals and expats (short, and long-term). Two favorites are Gypsy and Cave, both located on opposite ends of the Zhujiang Building. Cave has a distinct meat-market vibe and features nightly performances by a scantily clad woman whose specialty is dancing with snakes. Gypsy reeks of hashish and is much mellower.
