Consider yourself lucky to be alive at the right time: the apart-hotel accommodation concept has finally hit Hong Kong, and at the Ice House, it's done right. These chic, modern studio apartments are available to rent by the day or week, not just by the month (which, by the way, is quite reasonable at around HK$14,000). Sunlight is plentiful, and the glass cube showers are an amusing touch. The location is excellent, next to the Foreign Correspondents' Club and Lan Kwai Fong, and there's free unlimited broadband, a dedicated phone line, and other business amenities. There's housekeeping service every day but Sunday. If you want to feel like you have a place of your own in town, the Ice House is a unique option.
