This gleaming mall packs in most of Hong Kong's best-known stores into 12 frenzied floors, organized thematically. Lane Crawford and Marks & Spencer both have big branches here, as does favored local deli City'super. Many restaurants are located in the basement, giving way to names like Gieves & Hawkes and Burberry on the second floor, and midrange options like Zara higher up. The electronics, sports, and outdoors selection is particularly good. An indoor atrium hosts everything from heavy-metal bands to fashion shows to local movie stars; there's also a dozen or so eateries: try the innovative SML (or Small Medium Large) for its large terrace and good selection of wines. The huge Page One bookshop is on the ninth floor.
