Inspired by New York's (now closed) Second Avenue Deli, with a tiled interior to match, Main Street Deli introduced traditional Big Apple neighborhood favorites to Hong Kong and found immediate popularity with visitors and locals alike. The chef even trained at the Second Avenue Deli, and continues to make lunch favorites such as hot dogs, bagels, and pastrami on rye and hot corned beef sandwiches. Brisket, meat loaf, and matzoh-ball soup satisfy homesick New Yorkers. Lemon meringue pie makes an ideal accompaniment to afternoon coffee.

Excellent deli, if disarmingly swanky. A must for anyone who may feel like they need a break from congee, shahe fen, and char siu. (Or who just misses the States.)

Good food but (obviously) not as good as in NYC. I had a decent pastrami sandwich and a great dessert.
