Yardbird
Yardbird Review
This bustling bi-level eatery is one of the hottest places to eat. Chef-owner Matt Abergel plates perfectly cooked yakitori (Japanese-style grilled chicken) as well as a repertoire of salads and small plates designed for sharing. Definitely try the Korean fried cauliflower (KFC) and the liver mousse served with milk bread and crispy shallots. Drinking is another important part of the experience so try the house brand junmai sake or choose from the well-selected Japanese beer and whiskey list. The only downside here is that the restaurant doesn't take reservations so arrive early or risk waiting for a table.
