Jiaotong Hotel Review
This budget option isn't a bad place to stay, despite noise from the bus station in the rear and the bazaar across the street. It has recently been renovated, and the rooms are much improved, though prices have gone up. The on-site travel agency makes arranging tours a snap, although the staff can be a bit pushy. If you come to Turpan in the off-season, a deluxe suite with a small balcony overlooking the bazaar can be had for as little as Y200.
