Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel Review

Overlooking Lake Pichola, this converted 17th-century haveli is one of the best medium-budget places to stay in Udaipur and with all the recent improvements, you'd be hard pressed to find better value (or better views). Furnishings have been pepped up, a bakery has been added, and greater involvement by the owner has resulted in improved service. The charming restaurant has romantic open-air alcoves overlooking the lake, 12 rooms have lake views, and some suites have window seats to take full advantage of the vista.

    Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel Review

Request a room facing the water and watch the sunset over Lake Pichola. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the service is excellent. This hotel is located right in the city center among small winding streets lined with shopping and eateries. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of cuisines and a beautiful view of the lake. It is a peaceful respite. Highly recommended for any budget.
