On the shore of Lake Pichola opposite Lal Ghat, this pleasant and popular outdoor restaurant with a bar has a hidden approach via narrow lanes, the restaurant has stunning views of the City Palace complex and the Lake Palace. It serves good Indian fare: standards include paneer do piaza (soft white cheese in an onion gravy) and mutton rajputana (spicy, Mewari-style) along with decent continental and Chinese dishes. There's a pleasant bar, and the restaurant is open for all three meals. If you're here at dinner, insure the staff places a mosquito repellant coil under your table.
