Fodor's Review:
Separated by a wall from the restaurant and ethnic village of the same name, this little hotel south of Jaipur offers a village setting plus modern conveniences. Although its distance from the city is a little inconvenient, the setting is delightful enough to make it worthwhile, plus transportation is arranged to and from town. Opt for a room in one of the mud huts, with wooden doors and carved furniture -- unless you prefer to live like a landowner in the large painted haveli, with marble floors and modern bathrooms. The complex mirrors a village right down to the swimming pool -- designed to look like a village water tank -- and the lobby, with a sunken sitting area and hookahs. The vegetarian restaurant does, however, have Western-style tables and chairs.
