Kani Honke Review

This crab-eating haven serves raw, steamed, boiled, and baked crustaceans from the Hokkaido (or Russian) seas. The waitress will tell you whether the ke-gani (hairy crab), taraba-gani (king crab), or zuwai-kani (snow crab) is in season. The menu is in English and has photographs, so it's easy to choose from the set dinners, which start at ¥2,000. Wooden beams, tatami mats, and traditional decorations provide an authentic setting for the feast. There are two restaurants, one near the station and the other in Susukino.
