Fukuoka Grand Hyatt Hotel Review

Far and away the best digs in town, the Grand Hyatt overlooks—or rather, looks into—the Canal City entertainment complex. Those craving extravagance tempered with sophistication won't be disappointed. Mauve accents, green lighting, huge white stone pillars, and blonde wood panels set the relaxing mood of the lobby, which descends into a lounge with one of the most arresting views in the world. Beyond an invisible and immense wall of glass, a fountain plays, and on the other side of it is the concave hemisphere of Canal City's Urban Theater. The hotel's opulent rooms peer out over either a view of the mall's interior or the Naka River and the rest of town.
