Sekai no Yama-chan

Sekai no Yama-chan Review

Pepper-coated tebasaki (deep-fried spicy chicken wings) are the specialty at the main branch of Nagoya's most well-known izakaya chain, though you can also get other decent izakaya fare, such as sashimi. With most dishes costing around ¥400 to ¥500, the prices are good, too. Yama-chan is a no-frills place with a mix of traditional and Western-style seating, and the atmosphere is lively. It's a five-minute walk from Exit 13 of Sakae Station, directly behind the Hotel Precede.
