Toshichi Onsen
Toshichi Onsen Review
Toshichi Onsen, a year-round spa town—elevation 4,593 feet at the foot of Mokko-san, off the Aspite Line, before Goshogake if coming from Morioka—is a popular spring skiing resort. On the north side of Toshichi is Horaikyo, a natural garden with dwarf pine trees and alpine plants scattered among strange rock formations. In early October, the autumn colors are fantastic.
