Kawabata-dori Review

This avenue is where people come in the evening to sample the regional hot-pot dishes shottsuru-nabe (a salty fermented sandfish stew) and kiritampo-nabe (a stew made from chicken), drink ji-zake (locally brewed sake), and to enjoy the lively bars. It's six blocks west of the Atorion Building, across the Asahi River and slightly south.
