Hotel Metropolitan Akita Review

Adjacent to the west side of JR Akita Station and ALS shopping mall, this hotel's location makes it a perfect choice for shopping and exploring sights. A renovation in 2010 spruced up all guest rooms, the lobby, and the hotel itself. Rooms are adequate, decorated with generous wood accents; some deluxe rooms evoke Akita with locally produced crafts and ornaments. The breakfast buffet (¥1,500) is served in a restaurant on the second floor where the lots of sunlight pours through the large windows. Children under six years old can stay free with their parents.
