Yamauta

Yamauta Review

Traditional shamisen live performances with the addition of wailing Tsugaru vocals are expected here. The restaurant serves a teishoku set menu and three prix-fixe menus of regional foods that usually include grilled fish, yakitori, mozuku seaweed, and herring cooked with soy sauce (¥3,000-¥5,000). Live shamisen music shows start around 7 and 9. The restaurant is a five-minute walk past the Best Western Hotel New City Hirosaki from the train station.
