Shops are open Saturday through Thursday from 9 AM to 11 PM, and Friday from 1:30 to 11. Shops usually close three times throughout the day for around 15 minutes to coincide with Muslim prayer times. Note that it is illegal to export any coral or items made from turtle shell out of the Maldives.
