Opened by a Japanese man in the mid-1950s, Mizu's remains an institution. Considered Japanese by many, the menu actually offers an eclectic selection of dishes, including a range of spicy curries. Try the sizzling charcoal-broiled steaks from cattle raised in the north. The decor is a bit dated – some of the travel posters have been on the walls since the '70s – but the food is good and it's a good place for a bite before exploring the Patpong night market.
