Tha Nam Review

The Ping River meanders past the outdoor terrace of this rambling old Thai house. The upper floor, where a classical trio plays for evening diners, is so old and creaking that it tilts like the main deck of a schooner in a storm. The lower terrace is a lush tropical garden, shaded by enormous trees older than the house itself. The extensive menu is packed with Thai specialties—try the hang led (pork curry with ginger) or the chicken wrapped in pandanus leaves.
