Ban Tawai Tourist Village

Ban Tawai Tourist Village Review

Four kilometers (2½ miles) beyond Ban Tawai is the Ban Tawai Tourist Village, an entire community of shops dealing in antiques and handicrafts. At workshops you can see teak, mango, rattan, and water hyacinth being worked into an astonishing variety of attractive and unusual items. If you end up buying a heavy piece of teak furniture, the dealers here will arrange for its transport.
