Koh Chang Resort & Spa Review

This self-contained complex on the edge of the bay has a long history—it was one of the first major lodging built on Koh Chang in the late 1980s. Rustic bungalows line the beach and the hillside, and a newer hotel building sits between the bungalows and Koh Chang's one road. The bungalows closest to the beach are nice, but they're more expensive and get more foot traffic than the hillside ones, as other guests pass by to get to the beach. There's a spa offering treatments such as traditional Thai massage (B300 an hour) and two-hour packages with sauna and body scrubs (B2,000). The spa is open to nonguests—there are free transfers from any Koh Chang resort.
