Sanctuary of Truth

Sanctuary of Truth Review

The Sanctuary of Truth is probably the most interesting place in Pattaya. The late tycoon Lek Wiriyaphen started building this massive teak structure in 1981—it's still not finished, but it's open. The aim of the building, which looks like an intricate collection of carvings, was to make a statement about the balance of different cultures, mixing modern and traditional arts. The setting right next to the water north of Pattaya is pleasant, too.
