You'll see why Australians love cooking and dining outdoors at this casual open-air eatery adjacent to the pub at the hostel-style Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge. You can order steak, prawn skewers, or a kangaroo kebab from the server, and then cook it to your liking on huge barbecues. Pile your plate with greens from the salad bar, and tuck in at long tables beneath corrugated iron canopies.
