The Chairman and Yip Review
The menu at this longtime fusion favorite garners universal praise for its innovative mix of Asian and Western flavors against a backdrop of artifacts from Maoist China. Menu standouts include the duck pancakes and the pork chops with red dates, ginseng, and honey. Finish with a delicious dessert, such as cinnamon-and-star-anise crème brûlée. There are various specials, such as two-course lunch for A$25 and an two-course early-bird dinner for $28.50. The service and wine list are outstanding, but you can still bring your own bottle of wine if you like.
