Getting Here and Around

It's a seven-hour drive from Sydney along the Pacific Highway, but the town is just 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour and its airport. CountryLink trains run from Sydney three times a day and from Brisbane twice daily, stopping at Urunga, which is 10 km (6 mi) away. Both Greyhound and Premier Motor Service also run buses between Sydney and Urunga. From Urunga, either catch a taxi or a local Busways bus to Bellingen—though the bus is quite infrequent. There is also a Busways bus service from Coffs Harbour to Bellingen. The local tourist office is open 9-4.
