Chifley Executive Suites Newcastle Review
The city's newest accommodations option, Chifley Executive Suites opened in late 2011 on Scott Street, one block from the harbor. The 17 two-bedroom apartments have one queen bedroom, one twin-bed room, and two bathrooms; the 13 one-bedroom suites have queen beds. All units have fully equipped kitchens, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, LCD TVs, DVD player and DVD library, and mini-bar. The design is clean and crisp, with white, cream, and chocolate tones. Several apartments have terraces and balconies with views to the harbor and beaches. Many restaurants are within walking distances; buses and the Newcastle railway station are virtually at the door.
