The Vanguard
The Vanguard Review
The Vanguard is Sydney's answer to a New Orleans jazz joint, and purposely built by its music-loving owners to mimic the U.S. model. Australian and international jazz, blues, and roots performers love this intimate venue with its 1920s decor and friendly vibe. Ticket prices range from around A$30 (some performances are free); it's advised to book a dinner and show package to get the best seats in the house.
