Lurline House Review

This historic little B&B is considered the town's best. The Federation-style house dates back to 1910, and its seven rooms, two of which have their own private courtyard, have been carefully restored. The owners Peter and Suzanne are congenial hosts; Peter's expertise draws from a family of B&B owners, and Suzanne's from many years working for the Blue Mountains tourism organization. Their talent shows in the careful attention they pay to detail, from the full English breakfasts and complimentary Wi-Fi to afternoon tea and cakes, complimentary port in the parlor, and immaculate gardens. In mid-2011 the couple aquired the cottage next door, which will be converted into family-style accommodation, complete with two bedrooms.

    Rude And Pompous Owners

While the amenities, food and room were all spectacular, I found the owners, Peter and Suzanna to be quite ruse and pompous.

Albeit it for me to complain that the wifi was sub-par and that the heating in the room was at best as warm as a penguins behind given the location of this B & B the owners did not take criticism that well.

I will not recommend this pace to fellow travellers on the basis that the management staff were the most arrogant B & B owners I have ever met.
