Rydges South Bank Review
Sandwiched between South Bank Parklands and the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, within walking distance of numerous attractions, this hotel is an excellent choice if location's your focus. There are seven styles of accommodation, from guest rooms to family suites. Rooms were given a refurbishment in 2007 and now have sleek earth-tone furnishings and computer workstations with fast Internet access. Suites have separate lounge areas; some rooms and suites have balconies. The artificial beach at South Bank Parklands is within easy walking distance, and, at this writing, redevelopment of some of the common areas (which should be finished by March 2012) will include a pool—double the bathing possibilites.
