The Gunshop Café

The Gunshop Café Review

Named for its previous business, this West End café is the place to go for breakfast on weekends (the potato-feta hash cakes with spinach, house-dried tomato, and herbed sour cream are locally famous). Unfinished brick walls where guns once hung lend a rustic ambience. Dine around wooden tables near the open kitchen or request a seat out on the sidewalk. A select but eclectic Mod-Oz menu fuses Mediterranean and Asian flavors in dishes featuring premium Margaret River lamb, Angus beef, duck, and seafood; they also do vegetarian dishes and exciting salads, with all produce sourced from local markets. Foodies flock here for lunch, dinner, or even just a coffee and dessert; the flourless chocolate cake is particularly memorable.
