This award-winning backpacker joint is close to the cafés, bars, and attractions of Fortitude Valley. Choose from air-conditioned four-, six-, and eight-bed dorms; private single, double, and triple rooms; and loft-style, self-contained apartments. All except singles have en-suite bathrooms; dorms also have lockers, privacy screens, fresh linen and duvets, and individual bedside lights. Well-maintained on-site facilities include lounge areas with plasma TVs, a lively bar and restaurant (famous for its Sunday barbecues), a pool area, and an on-site travel agency-tour desk. There's also a well-equipped guest kitchen and laundry, a pool and hot tub, and a policy against big, noisy groups.
