Casa de Meze Review
If you're looking for a feast—or a fiesta—Casa de Meze, with its tapas bar, Latin music, pasta, pizza, steaks, and signature seafood paella (A$29.90), is the place to be. Platters for two loaded with premium oysters, barbequed prawns, barramundi and coral trout, panfried chilli mussels, steamed sand crab, Greek-style octopus, calamari fritti and barbequed Moreton Bay Bugs (A$130) are practically reason enough to head here. On Friday and Saturday nights, there are also DJs spinning Latin music and dancing till 2 am, and free hour-long salsa lessons from 9:30. (Friday, with topless barmen and free entry for ladies, is the Casa's "Girls' Night Out.") Other nights, the bar's open till around midnight.
