Beaches Backpackers Review

With a big, lively bar on-site, this main-street hostel attracts a party crowd, which makes things noisy (but keeps dorms near-empty) until around midnight. Eight-bed dorms, doubles and twin rooms are air-conditioned and serviced daily; bed linens are provided and each has an en-suite bathroom, small TV, fridge and balcony; some dorms are sex-segregated. There's an on-site pool, a clean communal kitchen and an Internet-games room. Reception can store your bags and valuables, and book tours. Beaches Bar & Bistro, downstairs, serves well-priced lunches, snacks and dinners, and has live entertainment nightly. A free shuttle runs between Beaches and the bus terminal.
