Casmar Restaurant Review
The ocean's bounty is the focus at this innovative, intimate waterfront restaurant. Try the seafood platter for two (A$90) with oysters, prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, chili-salt squid, scallops, reef fish, and various dipping sauces. Fresh barramundi-and-chips, roast lamb rump, and beef sirloin on mash are other crowd-pleasers. Leave space for a post-prandial coffee or liqueur and one of Casmar's divine desserts (A$10), best enjoyed by candlelight on the balcony. The food is a pleasure, as are the creative cocktails. You can also order take-out feasts, perfect for beach picnics.
