Club Med Lindeman Island. Not far from Lindeman Island lie Barrier Reef sites ideal for introductory diving and snorkeling. Club Med Lindeman Island organizes day cruises for guests to Hook and Hardy reefs that include snorkeling, optional guided dives, and lunch. You can also arrange to take refresher scuba-diving courses, go deep-sea fishing, or book shorter boat excursions to snorkeling sites off nearby Whitehaven Beach. Dive trips to the outer reef by air are 30 minutes each way; by boat it's two hours each way, but considerably cheaper.
