Maleny Tropical Retreat Review
At the end of a steep driveway lies a misty rainforest valley and this lovely B&B. Tropical gardens surround the two-story house furnished in Balinese style—right down to the incense and piped-in music (pre-book an in-room massage and relax). Each room has a balcony with dual hammocks or an elevated deck overlooking the rain forest, a fireplace, a CD player, and a glass-wall spa bath with views of Lake Baroon and Obi Obi Creek. There's also a well-appointed cabin. Hiking trails from the house lead to the creek and a private swimming hole; order a picnic (or BBQ) hamper and enjoy the environs.
