Underwater World has back-to-back marine presentations, including stingray feedings, guided shark tours, and seal and otter shows, all accompanied by informative talks. A clear underwater tunnel lets you get face-to-face with creatures from the deep. You can also swim with seals for A$90, play with otters for A$150 (including photo), and scuba dive with resident sharks: the cost, including training and 30 minutes underwater, is A$225 for beginners, A$195 for certified divers. The twice-daily behind-scenes tour, taking in the nursery, oceanarium, and marine turtle rehab center, is well worth it at A$15: pre-booking is a must. A souvenir shop and a café are on-site. The aquarium is part of Mooloolaba's Wharf Complex, which also has a marina, restaurants, and a tavern.
