Ricky's River Bar + Restaurant Review

A dining room overlooking the Noosa River makes this restaurant perfect for a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner. The menu features "modern Noosa cuisine," in which Mediterranean flavors mingle with Australian ingredients. Sip a mojito or a mango daiquiri and polish off a plate of tapas before moving on to a main course of fresh reef fish, chargrilled eye-filet, or confit of duck. There's also a kids' menu. The adjacent River Bar serves a lighter menu, including cheese plates, and has an extensive wine list.

    Best food and night of our trip

    Totally delicious food and the most romantic and beautiful setting right on the water. Ask for a table by the window, it feels like being on a ship. The design of the restaurant could be in a magazine it is so beautiful; you want to get there around sunset to see the colours on the water. Service was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. But hte food was the best - freshest seafood and interesting twists in the menu. I had amazing tuna sushi - freshest ever, delicious duck, and incredible souffle for dessert. The best meal of our trip to Oz, and many of the others took some beating!!
