Caloundra City Backpackers Review
This purpose-built modern hostel prides itself on being the best value in town. There are twin rooms (without bathrooms), doubles with en suites, and one triple, plus two eight-bed dorms (from A$28 per person, per night). All rooms are simple but tasteful, outfitted in blue and white. Guests share two fully equipped kitchens, and when they're not out surfing or sightseeing can watch DVDs or get online in the hostel's sociable common areas. It's a five-minute walk to the beach, two minutes into town.
