Coriole Vineyards

Coriole Vineyards Review

The 1860s stone cellar door at Coriole Vineyards sits among nasturtiums and hollyhocks on a hill with stunning St. Vincent Gulf views. From the surrounding vines, winemakers Simon White and Mark Lloyd make some of Australia's best Italian varietal wines, such as Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. Coriole grows olives, too, and you can taste olive oils as well as wine. Enjoy a platter of estate-grown and local produce—cheese, smoked kangaroo, roasted vegetables, and chutney—in the flagstone courtyard (Friday to Monday). The hosted tastings led by Tim Nicholls are excellent and should be booked ahead.
