Belly up to the counter in this tiny shop for cheap local seafood—named by The Australian newspaper as some of the best in the country—to take out or enjoy with a glass of wine in the seating area next door. Choose your fish—whiting, John Dory, garfish—from the blackboard menu and have it beer-battered, crumbed, or grilled. Or you might prefer a paper-wrapped parcel of scallops, prawns, lobster, and oysters (in season) shucked to order. The team behind the shop also runs 2 Birds & A Squid, which prepares seafood packs and cooked meals for pickup or delivery to your accommodation anywhere on the island.
