Peter Lehmann Wines is owned by a larger-than-life Barossa character whose wine consistently wins international awards. Art-hung stonework and a wood-burning fireplace make the tasting room one of the most pleasant in the valley. This is the only place to find Black Queen Sparkling Shiraz. Wooden tables on a shady lawn encourage picnicking on Barossa platters. Served daily, it's full of local produce and big enough for two. They also offer VIP tastings in a private room with food matchings. But you must book in advance.
