Barossa Wine Region Sights
Two Hands
Two Hands Review
The interior of this 19th-century sandstone cottage is every bit as surprising as the wines produced here. Polished wood and glass surround the contemporary counter where the excellent staff leads you through the tasting of several "out of the box" red and white varietals and blends. The main event is Shiraz sourced from six wine regions. Compare and contrast Shiraz from Victoria and Padthaway (South Australia); and try the Barossa-grown Bad Impersonator. From Thursday to Sunday you can join a structured Masterclass Tasting (maximum 8 people, bookings recommended) in the adjoining bake house, which has a glass floor over the original cellar. There are also fantastic tasting plates available in the adjoining dining area.
